Professional Graduate Master's Degree Program in Genetic Counseling
Guidelines for registration in the graduate program selection process
Before enrolling in the program, the student will be submitted to an admission exam selection process. At the registration period (published every year in an official notice) the candidate must present: a) a completed and signed registration form; b) for Brazilians, a copy of her/his identification card (RG) and a copy of her/his CPF; for foreigners, a valid passport or a copy of her/his RNE; c) the certificate of a Bachelor's or other full degree (or proof that the student is currently attending the last semester of her/his course); d) a copy of her/his graduation history; e) a copy of her/his updated curriculum Lattes (for Brazilians only); f) a copy of her/his English language proficiency certificate (*). Registration can be made in person at the IBUSP Post-Graduate Office or an application can be sent by mail or e-mail (mestprof@ib.usp.br/cpg@ib.usp.br). In the latter case, all documents must be in pdf format; the registration will be valid when a confirmation message is received by the student. The Selection Process occurs once a year and the date is published every year in an official notice.
(*) The English language certificates accepted by the Program are: TOEFL (iBT) (62), TOEFL (Computer-based) (177), TOEFL (Paper-based) (500), TOEFL ITP (500), TOEIC (600), IELTS (5,0), ESLAT (5,0), FCE – (First Certificate in English, Cambridge), CAE – (Certificate in Advanced English, Cambridge), CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English, Cambridge), Centro Interdepartamental de Línguas-FFLCH/USP (60%) ou União Cultural Brasil – Estados Unidos (60%), Versátil Idiomas (60%).
